Politics - Socially on the left, economically in the middle, social liberalism.
The EU - Going too far. Excellent vehicle for recovery post-WW2, it now has all the features of a left wing authoritarian regime, where social needs come second to economic prosperity. Keep the peace, scrap the politics.
Religious views - Agnostic / Deist
I can't tell you what it all is, but I can tell you what it's not. The Old Testament has so many contradictions and anomalies I am amazed it is still believed by so many people to be true.
I'm of the opinion that there is a creator of our Universe, but that the story, the pattern, the timescale and the reasoning is far beyond that of the comprehension of us, and particularly our narrow minded Christian friends.
I find Christians etc difficult and stuck in their ways, but then I also find atheists very similar in their polar opposite viewpoints.
To Christians -- If you opened your eyes to 1% of what science has taught us you would give up this absurd notion that you are somehow special. I would also like to add that I do not need a book to tell me killing is wrong.
To Atheists -- How can you be so sure? Science says never something for nothing, so something is beyond what you can and likely ever will be able to explain.
Football - Aston Villa and Barcelona.
Despise Liverpool and Birmingham. Dislike Chelsea and Man City.
Other Sports - Athletics, cycling, tennis, cricket, ice hockey.
Music - Alt rock, chill, funk, old school rap, electro etc
TV - Wallander, Top Gear (2002-08), Peep Show, Mad Men, The Inbetweeners.
Films (Top 10) - Leon, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Nil by Mouth, Platoon, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Terminator 2, The Great Escape and Sin City.
