Are you using the shitty inaccurate terraria.wikia.com or the awesome official wiki.terrariaonline.com? The latter says it has a 1:500 chance of being dropped by Giant Worms and Diggers and doesn't mention Gold Chests. Use wiki.terrariaonline.com instead, it's FAR more accurate.
I watched the 18 second Destroyer fight yesterday, it was absurd. I have enough trouble with the Magical Harp and Cross Necklace, still takes me two or three minutes. Have you seen the one where one person takes on all four bosses at the same time in one night and wins? >:^)

That would be the Whoopie Cushion, which has a 1:500 (0.2%) chance of dropping from one single enemy in the game.

I haven't played Dark Souls in a long time, I've been hopelessly addicted to Terraria lately, the fact that I decided to randomly start playing it yesterday afternoon for about twenty minutes and accidentally managed to obtain the single rarest item in the game from a random drop doesn't help me quit playing it, either. ^_^

I've read about all of that, but haven't fought it myself. I also haven't bothered to update since 1.9pre6 because I'm a lazy bastard and since I made a new world to get Tundras to spawn (in an amazing fluke, the seed that I used was "Point E9" which put me in the middle of a Tundra with a ton of trees and various ores) it'd take me ages to work my way up to where I can get to The End. I think it's fitting, especially given Minecraft's sandboxy nature making it hard to accidentally stumble onto the ending. They'll definitely be adding more stuff, from what I've read.

As for AC: R, I haven't played it yet and I probably won't until I get the last half of the feathers in AC2 (and in turn, 1000/1000G) and at least do Brotherhood's story. There have been too many games coming out and Assassin's Creed has been one series I haven't played much because of that. :^(

I meant to say that running into a shiny Pokémon IS rare, hence me saying encountering a B.O.B. ISN'T like running into a shiny. Also, I sunk a combined total of over 300 hours into Gold and Crystal combined and have only ever seen two shinies, so I'm not wrong, my example was just crap.  :^P
