About Me:
Ethos offers inexpensive private, group or ensemble lessons for children on the free or reduced lunch at their school. In addition, musical instruments are donated to Ethos and they are loaned to those same students who would otherwise be unable to afford the cost of a rental. Ethos Music Center also organizes several after-school programs ranging from hand drumming, choir, guitar, piano and much more in Elementary schools that are too impoverished to afford instruments or a teacher. Ethos pursues several side projects as well in addition to our core programs of bringing music and music-based education to disadvantaged youths. We operate stages at a number of annual music events, two public access television shows, free workshops in hip-hop technology & beat making as well as music and video production.
If you live near our North Portland headquarters, come down and sign your youngsters up for lessons or ask your school about starting a program with us.
