The reason she was signed is because she has a unique voice which some people (haters) think it means she cannot sing. She may not have the strongest voice, but it is unique and she is unique thats why she has achieved so much success.

@viki409 As she explained in many other interviews she used to tone her accent down alot because she was tired or answearing the questions more than once, she said she got sick of that and now talks with her normal accent.

Lyrical genius she makes everything sound sweet :))
