I acquired this 6 ft. girl on April 19th, so I've had her 3 months tomor...

I acquired this 6 ft. girl on April 19th, so I've had her 3 months tomorrow. Her former owners had kept her in a 10 gallon aquarium (barely more surface area than her when coiled) for several months or more. She was a little underweight and had scars and swollen areas on her face, which appeared to be infected and she had a whistle to her breathing. I took her to the vet immediately, and he said she had no signs of infection, that they were healing wounds and looked worse than they were as they were caked in dirt. I can only presume she escaped at some point and either got attacked by something small like a raccoon.. She must have at least been fed frozen and handled regularly, as she instantly took to frozen jumbo rats and is super calm and sweet. Sometimes when I stroke her head just right, she shudders/vibrates just her head. I was hoping to capture that in the vid, but I guess she didn't feel particularly shivery :P

Anyway, she eats a jumbo rat every other week. I have her in a 5x2x2 foot glass tank currently, when I move I'll be transferring her over into a huge modified gun cabinet. She just had shed before this video. She's much lighter, pinker, fatter and more active since I got her... but it doesn't take her long to settle down and curl up in my lap.
