There is a scene in the movie "The Matrix" where Neo is offered a choice of taking a blue pill to end the story and believe what ever he wants to believe. The other choice was to take the red pill
and be shown how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Just like Neo, we are trapped in the matrix. Although it's not the same matrix as depicted in the movie, it is a matrix of lies- wool that has been pulled over our eyes to blind us from the truth. The truth that the world does not function how it's portrayed by our government and media. The truth that our two party political system is nothing more than an illusion of choice- two wings of the same bird.

Many have become aware of this matrix. Others wish to stay oblivious in the matrix and don't want to face the fact that things are not what they seem, even though they know, deep down, something is wrong with this world.
