I'd say that you can experience and be the present moment if you forget everything else. We don't need anything, we are there already. Then we see that nothing really is separate, that we've been living in a dream that has now ended. Actually this is when we start feeling like everything is a dream.

Hypomania, which is a part of bipolar cycles is very beneficial, because for me it seems to increase creativity, make me more self-confident and makes me more productive. Many artists, writers and actors have this "disorder", which might help them to be more successfull at what they do.
