+1 for helper blocks or dirt blocks around the puzzle area for cheating through. I'll add that map designers can indicate very clearly - not necessarily with signs - that skipping a puzzle will break the map progression, or ruin the story/jokes/etc. O...

Sad but the only thing you can do is report players you suspect are cheating. Doesn't matter what "automated" system they put in place; PunkBuster has been around for years and cheaters still find their way around it. They always will.
But I 100% agree. Playing with cheaters sucks.
