Just finished reading the Bible as you suggested because I was "depraved" (in your words). Anyone who considers this "real", like yourself, needs psychological help. The stories are non-historical, unsubstanciated and fictional. There were about 400 historians alive at the time of Jesus and yet none of them ever mention him. It has been historically proven that King David, Solomon and such never existed and that the indigenous peoples of that time who called themselves Hebrews were a small, insignificant tribe with no history of merit. So they invested one. The book "The laughing Jesus" is a good read for those of you who are ignorant like yourself. If you care to believe in a mythological fairytail then that is your business, but you do so because you want to not because it is a fact. And yet it is you who is egotistical to criticise others who like to base their beliefs of fact not fiction. This is the arrogance of ignorance.
