Tasting this one now. Its pretty mediocre in my opinion. I do like the apricot notes, but theres too much metallic taste in the development. It just doesnt taste clean to me. Its not terrible and not a bad buy at $40, but if you want a $40 speyside I think glenmorangie is a far better way to go.

I usually just write off those folks who trash on Mises and Rothbard.

You get the odd person who has a real argument say about the Misesian epistomology or method, but clearly thats not Levin

I used to drink beer but it made me too sloshy and hungover. So I switched to good scotch, and that was a huge improvement. But tequila takes it to a whole other level.

Finally found a bottle of this in Alberta, paid about $65. This stuff is amazing. Knocks the pants off the black. By far the best vatted malt ive tried yet. I love the depth and complexity in the nose, and call me crazy but I get kiwi notes in the palate.

Does anyone else notice any variation from bottle to bottle? Im on my third bottle on QC and I have to say its not nearly as good as the first two were. Its very indistinct, im really dissapointed.

Its funny, when I first started drinking laphroaig the hospital taste was so big. But after a few bottles I dont notice it at all.

We have a different kind of Black Bull in Canada. Its a 10% malt liquor that comes in a 40oz bottle. lol. I wouldnt recomend it.

Thats absolutely crazy. Ardbeg 10 in Alberta goes for between $60-$70. Uigeadail and corryvreckan for for between $100-$120. Even that is insane.

I recommend people decant this one when the bottles getting empty. I have a 1/4 left in my bottle and the quality is really taking a turn for the worse.

The nose on this one I found was greatly improved with a teaspoon of water. Im from Alberta too btw (lol caught it on the card). I also paid $50 at superstore
