Epic Failure originated in the summer of 2009. Bandmates Hunter White, Jonathan McNutt, and Jordan Higgs came across a skillful young fellow by the name of Zack Montgomery who, needless to say, somewhat became the "frontman" of the band. However, the four handsome young men had not decided on a name at the time. At a practice one day, Zack was joking around and suggested Epic Failure, which obviously was digged by his fellow bandmates.

Just a couple weeks later, the band performed its first show by participating in the Riverdale Talent Show, playing the song "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by The Darkness. Epic Failure overwhelmed the audience with its majestic sounds of rock music and took the first place prize: a cool plastic trophy and 100 dollars.

Soon after the show, drummer Jonathan McNutt voluntarily left the band and new drummer, Tyler Dolberry was taken in by his fellow bandmates like a baby bird is by its mother. Epic Failure continued to produce beautiful baby-making worthy music and performed at Warrior Stock for their second show. The band suffered another loss when Jordan Higgs was tragically killed due to an overdose of cocaine-- nah just kidding, he just quit the band. But the three remaining mother birds took in Dennie Miller and nursed him to awesomeness.

Epic Failure has since played shows ranging from the boonies of Woodbury to the fecal/urine/beer smelling hole in the wall known as the Muse in the big city of Nashville. The four boys are now looking forward to producing an EP at the end of July/early August. They are also anticipating a very busy and fun-filled year ahead of them and, most importantly, they love their fans dearly!
