It sounds to me like you were trying really, really, REALLY hard to hate this movie. I'm surprised you aren't complaining about the fact that the animals talk in the movie.

1 - Avatar. Yes, it's a terrible shame, the movie cost so much, they decided to play it safe with the story and essentially rewrote Dances With Wolves so it would all occur in space. While definitely not terrible, it is not deserving of its money or success.

@Aathron Most (if not all) black characters in this were actually played by white actors wearing make up. It was quite common in those days.
