So I finally decided to put up a picture of myself. No, I don't normally look quite of f'd up, this picture was taken just after I got home from the last GWAR show I attended and I was covered in the drying remains of the various fluids they spray over the crowd (What can you get at a GWAR show that you can't get anywhere else? Free pee!). I thought the picture would give people a nice WTF moment.
What to say about myself?
I'm one of those damned, heathen atheists, and have been basically all my life. I can't remember I time when I actually believed in god. When I was occasionally forced to go to church while visiting my grandparents as a kid I couldn't believe that adults were believing in fairy tales. It just seemed ridiculous to me even then and as I grew up I could see no reason to believe in a god.
I'm an ex-chef. I have worked at several restaurants through the years some small, some huge. I joke that I'm the only person I know whose owed money by a rock star, since my last paycheck from Mick Fleetwood's restaurant never did clear. That's why I no longer cook. Too many problems with bouncing paychecks and closing restaurants. So after years of holding down various jobs, some interesting (working for a swordsmith), some not so interseting (retail), and trying to operate my own business on a couple of occasions, I went back to college. Now I'm a geologist, well I'm about to finish my degree but I have done work in the field.
