How did you make the actual helmet from the molds so that it wasn't completely solid? And what did you use? I'm sure I msised the video in which you've explained these things... How well does the final material take paint/sanding/filing?

Do you think it would be possible to use the same process (sculpting your face and applying several layers of latex) but rather then make a mother mold with it, to instead use fiberglass/resin over the latex mold to make a mask directly on the latex and sculpted head? That way you can pull the fi...
