Currently this channel is focused on my journey to a healthier and sexier body. I'm currently on Ideal Protein through my Chiro Doctor and it's like magic. It's really so easy!

I want to share the experience to show that weight loss can be as easy or as hard as you make it. Just follow the rules and watch the fat melt off, focusing on keeping the lean mass. The first phase of my goal is to lose 70lbs. I have just past the halfway point in less than 3 months. :) You can do it too!

I'm really enjoying my journey and LOVE inspiring people to reach for what they want. I'm having such a great time! :) I am so grateful for Ideal Protein, as well as Bothell Chiropractic for asking me to be a coach. I've met Dr Tran and Olivier Benloulou and Mike Ceill and am inspired by their passion. :) I am truly blessed.

**UPDATE** Dec 2011
3lbs from 70lbs weight loss goal :) YAY!! And now I'm setting a new goal for January and onward which is the 20% Total Body Fat.. which could go down to 15% depending on how I'm feeling about how I look when I reach goal.

I am seriously looking into ACE Certification to be a Personal Trainer and competing in Figure Competitions as well as becoming a Figure and Bikini Model. :) I want goals that will keep me looking my ultimate best and help others at the same time! :D SO HAPPY!

LOVE your recipes!! I look forward to making the Thai Shrimp and Chicken Stir Fry..this is my 1st day! So happy to find your recipes because this will allow me to eat a yummy meal for dinner, rather than steam chicken and side of asparagus. Keep posting the recipes ;) PS Thanks for the pudding/milkshake recipe and "tapioca pudding"...off to the grocery store I go!

Well, yeah but you can probably tell I was totally scared! LOL!! I wasn't sure it would actually work and then all of a sudden I had already lost 30lbs, pretty much, in ony 9 weeks. CrAzY!! I mean, I couldn't not do it. I really had to share what was happening. LOL. I am really am still amazed! I love it and love learning more about low carb diets and all of the benefits to the human body. Ideal Protein is awesome and I'm with an amazing clinic. I hope you find a great one also! So excited!!

hi - I found a brochure in a medical building and when I went to youtube to search to see what I could find on "Ideal Protein" I found you! I have watched all your videos and let me tell you - I think you are amazing! I really think I want to try this. Do you wish you had started from the very beginning with your videos? I think the first is at week 9. You look amazing!

I'm glad you're doing great! I was really surprised that I wasn't hungry either. Don't miss your meals tho, they protect your lean mass. At first I thought the snack was optional since it was called "snack" lol but it's totally required. No missing meals. The calorie intake is low and the body needs the maintenance level of protein to prevent muscle loss, so NO SKIPPING MEALS! lol, even if you're not hungry. :) Glad you're doing great!!!

Ok, that makes sense and sounds good. I read on your side profile that you wanted to get into personal training, so I just assumed you were working out. The first two days have been great. I don't feel tired at all, or hungry which is surprising! I missed breakfast and snack yesterday too, just because I was super busy with work.

I love your recipe posts, and made the chicken stirfry, but I used tofu, and it was great. I would love more ideas!! Thanks for inspiring me to be better to my body and learn more about ways to combat cancer.

No one on this program should exercise at all for the first two weeks. Each cell is being reconfigured to use ketones. That's a huge toll on your system the first time you do it. There is no exercise required for this diet and high intensity activities, like hot yoga, is not allowed. I didn't exercise, not even walking, for the first 7 months and lost over 70lbs. Diet is 80% of your physique. Fat loss is not in exercise, it is about WHAT we consume. I only added walking in January for the competition between us coaches where I work. This is not a diet designed for high intensity exercising. If you want to exercise do only fat burning zone type exercises and nothing higher and only after the first two weeks. I do not work out.

I should add that I am doing this for two reasons, one is to drop about 20 pounds, the other is because of all the research I have read about cancer feeding off sugar, and I would like to reduce my chances, and my families chances, as much as I can. My 11 year old son is a brain cancer survivor, so I really want to do everything within my control to hopefully keep him in remission forever, and to keep the rest of us healthy and strong.

I am starting tomorrow! I am both excited and nervous! I have heard the first few days can be very tough. I am wondering how much you work out per week, and whether that has changed the longer you have been on the diet. I typically work out 3-4 times a week...but my coach said to take it easy the first couple of weeks. Your journey seems to have been so successful, I am wondering from someone who has done it, what do you suggest?

Hi everyone,
if you're weighing in daily, Be careful not to be discouraged. Women fluctuate hourly, daily and monthly with our cycles. Men not as much but they do still fluctuate in different days of the week. It's about looking at the average loss over the course of the program. Weighing in at the same time, same day of the week is a good steady way of seeing the loss.
Stick to the plan because any deviation will throw off the results, kicik you out of ketosis and possibly you'll have to go through carb withdrawals again which isn't fun. Our body is very sensitive with burning fat. It wont touch fat unless it is last resort. So, once you're in Ketosis, stay the course until you reach goal. :)
