This is EnigmaGamer from GameFAQs. I also recently registered on Neoseeker with the same username. I got started recording videos since I planned to record some speedruns for Speed Demos Archive, but I wanted to do other stuff also. I still haven't done a speedrun though.

I'm a college student. I like playing video games when I have the free time.

I started playing games on the NES. I don't remember the first game, but I think it was Super Mario Bros. It could have been something else though. My first RPGs were the StarTropics series on the NES and Illusion of Gaia on the SNES.

Yeah, looking forward to more of these vids, Dancer sounds like an interesting SSCC. I read about your progress on the challenge board, too.

I would use Exy for the second loop. The low stock of bombs simply serves to make the game more challenging in a way and Exy certainly is better for chaining. Also, even if the shot has less bombs, it has a better shot which allows for better survival in the loop. Of course, I'm playing Type B so I get great benefit in just being able to wipe out stuff with spread. I can actually manage pretty well in the loop for the first 4 stages. The bosses is another thing.

I haven't got any replays for Ketsui but I might make one and upload that once I get my scoring routes better developed and make a run. The goal so far is simply beating Bananamatic's score.

As for DOJ. As much as I would love to upload it, I for some reason can't get my computer to record it without serious framerate issues.

Well, I'm not save stating (not even in prep menu) when doing the battles, but I didn't feel like farming the outfit for hours. And yeah, just realised Zombie never runs out after you cast it. I guess it's very much topical for facing Gafgarion the 2nd and 3rd times, too.

Is using save states for the purpose of acquiring a pre-Queklain Judo Outfit considered commonplace in challenge taking? I shudder to think how long that would have taken if I had had to reset each time I failed the map / the enemy crystallised / the chest contained the wrong item.

Well, the challenges I did didn't rely too much on law abuse. I did usually make sure to enter the battle on a day that benefits my current setup, or castrates the enemy's offence.

But yeah, Jagd Hunt is pretty much always a major problem when doing any challenge. At least in an SSCC, you don't have to worry about winning with casualties, but you still have to be concerned about actually winning.

Since you're on emulator, just save state before finishing off the last enemy in a random encounter, resetting until you get the desired mythril weapon. It's kinda cheap, but you save yourself potential hours of time resetting for it.

And laws for the win, I see.
