About this user

David Hicken is a composer & pianist who lives on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.

Originally from England, David received strict classical training from an early age in piano, clarinet, organ and composition.

He has given solo performances at St. Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Cathedrals in London as well as St. George's Chapel, Windsor.

He has released seven CDs of new age and classical music, and his last three, entitled "Goddess", "Angels" and "Faeries" have received critical acclaim.

David has worked with legendary musicians such as Patrick Moraz (of Yes and Moody Blues fame) and has taught piano to the children of film composer James Horner, music producer David Foster, television composer Snuffy Walden and actors A. Martinez, Michael Ontkean and Julie Carmen.

David works as a piano teacher, accompanist and director of music at an Episcopal church in Hawaii. He also composes music for choirs.
