Let's get this out of the way first then:
Emma. (you can come up with your own nicknames for me, I go by a lot, trust) 18 years old. London home. Norwich flat. Currently studying Music in my first year at university and loving it :D
I've been playing the flute since I was 8 years old. I'm Grade 8 flute, and I can also play the piccolo.
FAQs:
What flute do you have?
-I have an Altus 1007. That means I can say double 0 seven when I say the name of my flute ;)
-I also have a Yamaha 211 (my first and only other flute).
-For some of my videos (mainly 2010-mid 2011) I played on an Altus 801, which I borrowed from my music school as I got to an intermediate level of playing, which allowed me to try the Altus brand out.
What flute should I buy?
-I won't be able to personally tell you what flute to buy for yourself, your best option is to go to a music shop with instruments and ask to try some of the flutes they have available, just so you can get a feel for them and an idea of the sounds they make. It's amazing how different every brand of flute is, in sound and playing ability. I only really know about Yamaha, Altus, Gemeinhardt, Sankyo and Pearl flutes, simply because I've played on them and got a feel for them. It's up to you, take your time when choosing. Remember you may have to buy a flute that you can adapt to later, it may have a gorgeous sound for you when you play it, but there may still be room for improvement on it as you get used to it and its abilities :)

-You will find the sheet music for *insert title of video here* underneath the video of *insert title of video here* It is that simple, I know, it's amazing. You just go underneath the video in the info section, click the link, download it, and you will have the sheet music to play to your heart's content.
Could you find the sheet music for *this* and send it to me?
-Simple answer, no. I have a life to lead and can't be finding sheet music for other people when they can just google it. It is EASY to do!!
My mum/dad/grandparents/carer/pet won't let me download the sheet music, can you send it to me?
-Simple answer again, no. Because I don't save the sheet music anymore, I just print it straight out, so I won't have the file to send to you, only the link. Every link I post is to something I have found on the internet. I am not saying it is completely safe, but I am saying it is safe on my computer, so I don't see why not on yours.
