Greetings! I am a professional belly dancer. I have been around for a long time, but I stay away from dancer politics for various reasons, particularly because I am interested in dancing professionally.
I was the first belly dancer to aquire a personal fitness trainer certification license.Soon after I did this, many other belly dancers liked the idea and began fitness classes, videos and certification classes combined with belly dance.
What is the difference?
If you want to be a real belly dancer, invest the time, energy, and money it takes to learn to dance.
If you just want to play, have fun, and get in shape, take the dance fitness classes. The fitness classes are great for serious dancers too, for drilling, building strenth and stamina, etc.There are great teachers for both in every city.
