Baby Elephant Born at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park

Although I am very much against elephants in zoos, at least the Wild Animal Park has significantly more room for them than does a typical zoo. They need miles and miles to roam. Having said that it doesn't change the fact that this little guy is a cutie!!

I'm wondering if this is the same Shirley that is at the Tennessee Elephant Sanctuary. If it is, she is now free to be an elephant. They and PAWS are wonderful organizations that help these poor, beautiful creatures and protect them from mankind.
