Hello! I'm Emily, a 24 year old singer/songwriter living in Boston and performing original folk tunes for one and all. I play an electric acoustic guitar, piano, and occasionally throw in the loop pedal for added atmosphere & effect. I've opened for Edie Carey, and for Passion Pit a few years ago with my cover band ELEVEN.
My music is easy listening, sweet and lyrically inclined with tinges of a darker side. I'm inspired by none other than Mrs. Edie Carey, Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, Bon Iver, Laura Marling, The Civil Wars and William Fitzsimmons.
I put my whole heart into music. When it's the forefront of your life, you know you would do it any day, any time for anyone without receiving a cent (though we all know having it as a supportive career is the ultimate dream!). Anyway, if you love music, it doesn't let live without it. So here's to good friends, good times, and sharing the love.
