About Lana Richardson:
Lana Richardson learned the importance of preparedness from first hand experience. She lived in Tonga, a small third world country in the South Pacific, for three years. Tonga was sometimes devastated by hurricanes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Her drinking water was collected from rain water that drained from her roof to a storage tank. It had to be boiled because of the insects, rodents and dead birds that polluted it. While there, she gave birth to a baby boy in very primitive circumstances. After returning to the U.S. her husband was injured and was out of work for 5 months. With all she has been through she has felt the need to find out all she could about being prepared for disasters.
