Matt 6:14-15 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

we need to forgive the ppl who have hurt us regardless of whether they deserve it or not bcos God first forgave us. and we surely didn't deserve that forgiveness. the forgiveness needs to happen bcos only then will we truly have a relationship with God.
