I believe that all life is of equal value. We might be technologically advanced, but we are also parasites upon this world. And our host is dying.

I don't think anyone can rightfully judge another. No matter how well You think You know somebody there's always something that, sometimes even they don't know of, which affects their behavior. Something, someone or an instance which made them who they are. Or perhaps they're thinking of something else or meant what they said or did in a different way. There's too many variables in life for one person to be defined by another.

Things that we can do to preserve this world are simple. Flip the light-switch as You leave the room, turn off the faucet when you brush Your teeth, recycle, buy and eat organically and in moderation, stand up for those who are weaker, don't waste Your life away by doing things that really doesn't matter, take a walk or a bicycle ride into town, don't leave the refrigerator- or freezer door open, make use of what You have instead of throwing it away, appreciate the world we all live in and the creatures that dwell within it. But we are quite a selfish race as a whole aren't we...
