We always believed that Tafawa Balewa was uneducated and did not understand or spoke English. The man spoke very good English with an accent better than that of chief Awolowo and Enahoro. Apart from Dr Azikiwe and Ojukwu, no leader of that era spoke a better English than Balewa.

I think that Nica Nbarga's father was Cameroon and his mother a Nigeria. He was brought up in Nigeria and started his music career in Nigeria. He live most of his life in Nigeria and produced most of his records in Nigeria too. So he was both a Nigerian and a Cameroonean. But lets enjoy his music...
