@amaya1000rr That's interesting. Can't say I've handled a standard 590 so I'll defer to your experience there. I did handle several 500's at my local shop and I can definitely say they didn't match up to my 590A1. And I'm with you - I wouldn't hesitate to pick up an 18" 590 at the right price....

@juliobahar I wondered the same. I took the open/close statements out of the setupVariable() method and the program worked fine, so no I don't think it's needed. I also removed the while loop and the program still worked fine. I think that is in there just to make sure that the file is not empty?
