Aircraft Accident Forensics Lab -- Daytona Beach Campus

The Aircraft Accident Forensics Lab gives students a hands on experience like no other, getting first hand investigation opportunities of aircraft wreckage and crash site analysis.

At the "Crash Lab," students are able to see, touch and examine several different aircraft accident sites and piece together the elements of the scene to determine what may have caused the incident.

Here at Embry-Riddle, our Applied Aviation Sciences department offers a degree in Aerospace and Occupational Safety, promoting the level of safety necessary within the aviation industry.

The Aerospace and Occupational Safety degree is designed for students interested in obtaining a strong safety foundation. The goal of the degree is to produce graduates who are prepared to provide safety expertise in a variety of aviation, aerospace, and other occupational settings. This program will produce professionals who are skilled in providing safety management expertise along with technical guidance in compliance issues involving FAA, EPA, OSHA, DOT, and industrial hygiene, and workplace standards.
