I am a Christian, and I am doing a PhD and working as a Research Assistant at the University of the West of Scotland. My field is (broadly speaking) educational technology, with a heavy computing/HCI slant.

I love music. My first instrument is piano, second is voice, and third guitar. I trained classically to various levels on all three, but these days I really don't get much chance to practice.

I am also a bit of a computer geek. I studied Computer Games Technology at university, so I do lots of programming stuff in my spare time.
