Sorry but Richter owns this one...Rubinstein sounds to staccato to me for the lush romanticism of the nocturnes... Arrau however is very close to Richter...

When scaling up use normal fingering, then when scaling down use normal fingering then half way down use situational fingering. that is: scaling up start A with thumb and then 2 3 4 1 2 3 and so. THEN scaling down use mixed fingering use only...

This is a wonderful performance. Yet it is paled by the godlike performance of master PERLEMUTER!! Ms. Lisitsa is very comfortable but if you look Perlemuter he is sooo smooth and relaxed... it is just unnatural...

While listening to this I TYPE faster and more accurately on my keyboard!!!!! This soooo regulates my tempo my heartbeat.. It is soooooo soothing....
