ahhh.. So this video could may earn people's disrespect, however on my facebook fanpage it was requested quite a bit :)
A few years ago, me and my friends would jam video games, and all of a sudden i hit a wrong note in One winged angel, which made it sounds jazzy.. We all looked at each other and were like "shieee. LEGGO". Unfortunately back then i didn't know that much about jazz, and over the years i gained alot more experience in the style :)
So now, i present to you one swinged angel, one of the most popular video game music pieces of all time. Some people love it, some hate it, but harmonically... i find it to be a masterpiece of Uematsu. It's got so many flavours and episodes combined with an epic orchestra...
This version is a COMPLETELY different take on it. I remember posting a status about this on my fanpage before as a joke, but it got quite a few likes and i started writing sheets for it... But i found it too hard. To alter the harmonies would give it a completely different feel... i thought i would destroy the epicness. Recently i played the piano collections just to familiarize myself with it (it's the score i'm basically using in this video along with my obscure imagination), and i guess i had a phase of jazz competence reach out to my one winged fingers. (WHUT). I had improvised some chords without paying much attention to strict rules, and i guess this is where we lead. Tbh i did several takes on this, and each one was fairly different... None of them were 100% polished, and are relatively sloppy in some areas however this one was the one i was happy with the most :)
Sorry to some of you who feel like i completely butchered the song, but music is about interpretation, and regardless of your attitudes towards the original, I hope you enjoy my take upon it!

P.s. Apologies for any of the background noise that may be heard....
