What's with the NewTek genlock'ed Amiga graphics at 1:27?

What a fascinating listen. Moroder used the same sounds as on the blockbuster projects he was working on at the time. It's the missing link between Miami Sound Machine's Hot summer Nights from Top Gun (the drums) and Limahl's NeverEnding Story (the sitar).

The piece was composed by Michel Colombier. Performed by a who's who of session musicians with Buchanan being principal keyboardist on the score, not just on this track (check out "Golden Love" and then tell me where the keys end and the strings begin). Not sure why he got "performance"...
