After the first about 1 hour, and seeing about 2 or 3 baddies, the game stopped being scary to me. Of course it took me about 3 or 4 times of playing about 20 minutes per time before I could just sit down and finish the game. A lot of "NOPE"s occurred constantly, even before I saw my first baddie...

That really sucks that you couldn't find Settlers of Catan. Every single store that sells anything related to any board game, card game, or pen & paper RPG sells Settlers and every expansion. We have like 10 withing an hour's driving time too.
