Good thing ravenouspanda is in a music class, since he or she is so painfully uneducated and probably has no clue whatsoever what it takes to play this piece, let alone to do it at this age. Very sad.

Before you make another comment on any piece of music, would you please note that a "song" is music that is sung. An instrumental piece is not a song, and calling it that makes you sound like you don't know what you're talking about. Since you do know what you're talking about-- you're expressi...

Often recordings of this movement, even by top players, sound muddy and incomprehensible. Your performance is lucid and clear. Really exceptional compared to most I've heard. Bravo!

I can't read through all 9,022 comments to see if anyone got this right, but there is no evidence at all that Chopin hated this piece. The reason he didn't publish it is most likely that it was composed as a private commission, for the Baroness d'Este. The idea that it resembles any part of Bee...

Not being able to prove that something exists is quite different from proving that it doesn't exist. Very faulty logic here. Even faultier spelling.

You can love him or hate him, but the tempo of the A section is far slower than what Chopin wrote, and the extreme changes of tempo aren't in the score, either. In addition, at one point Lang Lang actually doubles the speed of the notes in some phrases. In other words, this is not the piece Cho...
