Orfeus Records, a Canadian independent World music label, presents the duo of authors-composers, musicians and singers, El KadySami.

Their repertoire is an inspiring collection of Classical World Fusion songs and rhythms from different Folk roots, enriched by diverse poetic languages.

In 2000, Ricardo Pellegrin El Kady & Sami received the gold medal as best authors-composers for the "World music" category at the great international contest
"SONG EXPO Benelux International" in the Netherlands , among more than 1000 participants from 57 countries.

May 2007: Nomination of the duo as "Gold Artist".
This great musical Award is granted by the well-known satelite radio in the USA - RadioIndy.com

May 2008: El KadySami received an "Honorable Mention" Award from "Song of the Year" - USA

July 28, 2008: El KadySami received an "Honorable mention" from the "15th Annual Billboard World Songwriting Contest". USA

Sept. 08: El KadySami are Semi-finalists at the "UK Songwriting Contest 2008" with 3 songs:
"Ilha dos Amores" "Stand by your Dream" "A Quiet Place" . Also, 2 songs were received as "Commended Entries":
"I'll Show You" and "Walk Together".

May 09: World music Top 20 Finalist at the "12th Annual UNISONG International Songwriting Contest" - USA -LA
The author-composer El Kady received a "Certificate of Achievement".

Nov. 09: Top 10 UP & Coming at NUMUBU.com

February 2010: El KadySami is part of "Classical Music Discoveries" the # 1 Classical Music Internet Radio Show in the world.

July 2010: Ambassadors/Representatives for "Artist in Action - Culture unites Cultures for Humanity".

From 2009 to date (Feb. 2012): Top 10 Artist and #1 in the World Music category at IMA Hollywoodstar in California - LA - USA.
