EGO INSTINCT...

...are Mathias, Benjamin and Hannes. Everythin began in 2005.

It was the time when Mathias and Benjamin meat each other for the first time.
Typical for modern youths they meat in the internet.
A music genre was found very soon.
Both tried to find a parole, either before a band name existed:

"Cool sound against global warming!"

It fitted perfectly to some of the first songs.
They wanted to combine modern electronic music with texts who transport emotions and experience
from everyday life.
Music must transport emotions but it has to change them, too.
In a very short time songs like "Everybody Listens To Techno" where created.

Mathias is responsible for vocals, composition, production, songwriting and synthesizer.
Benjamin cares for the second voice, composition, production, songwriting and synthesizer.

One year later the band name was found and from this time on they worked under the name of
EGO INSTINCT on further songs.

At the end of 2006 Hannes joined the duo, which growed up to a trio.
Since then Hannes is responsible for synthezier, backing vocals and composition.

In 2007 Ego Instinct signed a label contract with Prussia Digital.
With Prussia Digital as label they continued working on the first single.
"The Girl That I Want"...later on two remixes of "Earth Song" by Sara Noxx feat. Project Pitchfork
were created.

The most important fact was, that the human being becomes clear of it's responsibility for it's life
and the own existence. The self-preservation of mankind.
The faith to strength itself, to put down doubts and to break the chains of suppression.
Tolerance, variety and to live the life...with this Mathias created the actually parole
which stands for Ego Intinstct.

"Only who has hold, can feel itself saved."

In early 2008 the first single "The Girl That I Want" was released via Prussia Digital on digital level.
The year comes to an end and the soon longed first Album "Universe" of "electro chapell master" Mathias
and co. will be released in 2009 together with a second single called "Signs Of Life"

2009 will be cooled down for global warming and electronic!

EGO INSTINCT...

...sind Mathias, Benjamin und Hannes. Alles begann im Jahr 2005.

Es war das Jahr, in dem sich Mathias und Benjamin zum ersten Mal begegneten. Natürlich so, wie es sich für moderne Jugendliche gehört, lernte man sich im Internet kennen.
Schnell fand man auch einen musikalischen Nenner. Beide überlegten sich gleich ein Motto, noch bevor der Bandname feststand:

"Cooler Sound gegen die Erderwärmung!"

Dieser passte auch ganz gut zu einigen der ersten Lieder. Man wollte moderne, elektronische Musik mit Texten, die Emotionen und Erfahrungen aus dem Alltag vermitteln und kombinieren. Musik muss und soll Emotionen transportieren aber auch verändern.
So entstanden in kurzer Zeit einige Songs, u.a. "Everybody Listens To Techno".
Dabei ist Mathias zuständig für den Gesang, Komposition, Produktion, Songwriting und Synthesizer. Benjamin kümmert sich um die zweite Stimme, Komposition, Produktion, Songwriting und Synthesizer.

Ein wenig später stand dann auch der Bandname fest und fortan arbeitete man unter dem Namen EGO INSTINCT an weiteren Liedern.

Ende des Jahres 2006 stieß Hannes zum Duo hinzu, dass seitdem zum Trio heranwuchs.
Hannes ist seitdem für das Klimpern, Backing Vocals und Komposition verantwortlich.

Im darauffolgenden Jahr gelang Ego Instinct der erste große Wurf, in dem man einen Plattenvertrag mit Prussia Digital unterzeichnete. Mit dem Label im Rücken, arbeitete man an der Single "The Girl That I Want"...Wenig später an zwei Remixen des "Earth Song" von "Sara Noxx feat. Project Pitchfork".

Das wichtigste war immer, dass der Mensch sich seiner Verantwortung, seinem Leben und der eigenen Erhaltung klar wird. Die Selbsterhaltung des Menschen. Den Glauben an sich selbst stärken, Zweifel abwerfen und die Ketten der Unterdrückung abnehmen. Toleranz, Vielfalt und das Leben leben...So enstand von Mathias der eigentliche Leitspruch, der EGO INSTINCT ab da an ausmachte und was sich da hinter verbirgt:

"Nur Wer Halt hat, kann sich geborgen fühlen."

Anfang 2008 wurde dann die erste Single "The Girl That I Want" via Prussia Digital auf der digitalen Ebene veröffentlicht. Und derzeit neigt sich auch wieder ein weiteres Jahr dem Ende hinzu und das langersehnte Debütalbum von Elektrokapellenmeister Mathias und Co. befindet sich derzeit in der Endfertigung und bekommt wie manche sich gerne ausdrücken, "den letzten Schliff".

Das Album wird Anfang 2009 veröffentlicht.

Das Jahr wird also abkühlend zugleich für die Erderwärmung und elektronisch!
