FUCKING HIPSTERS! is a post-ironic look at the hipster culture of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, an enclave of "navel-gazing, skinny jean-wearing, self-consciously quirky consumers of obscure indie rock." The story follows Lars, the lead singer for the indie band Mark Twain's Moustache. Lars is the hipster king. He lives in a loft with his band-mates; he's honest, loyal... and he brews his own beer. When Lars meets Josie Harvey one night after a show, he falls madly in love with her. And who wouldn't? Josie is charming, sexy and funny, plus she's on the list for all the best shows. But bad luck follows Josie: her loft is infested with termites, her abusive ex-boyfriend drained her bank account, and when she moves in with Lars, she threatens to destroy everything the band has worked for. Will the Moustache survive? Will Josie?
