Edward Maya is a whole musical package (producer, performer, composer, musician) from Romania. He graduated The "George Enescu" Music High School from Bucharest. Currently, he is studying The National University of Music Bucharest.
Aged only 19 he produces a song (Mihai Traistariu - Tornero) with E. Carcota, for the popular song contest - Eurovision (2006), which took 4th place in the final.
After this experience he started working with Romanian artists like (Akcent, Costi Ionita, Cassa Loco).
In 2008 he produced the album "Fara Lacrimi" for Akcent, with songs like "Stay with me", "That's my name" and "Lover's cry" that are succesful in Europe.
A pleasant surprise took place in 2009, when Edward Maya (as a producer and artist) released "Stereo Love", a song that fast became a hit, appearing in various dance and club music charts from Europe (Romania, Greece, Russia ,Poland, Netherlands, Egypt, Spain, Italy and Turkey).
