I would say Blazing Saddles is racist because Richard Pryor deserved to play the role Cleavon Little was given. I read in a book from one of his comedic friends that not only did he write the thing but he was also promised the role by Mel Brooks. If you notice Cleavon Little is heard from again after that movie is made. The reason he was given the role instead of Richard Pryor was because Pryor had a history with using cocaine but more importantly he didn't kiss Hollywood's ass. Yes I know he was in the Toy only because he always wanted to be a superstar despite the Hollywood bullshit.
