I have slave owners murders rapists & the like in my family tree, as such I'm not inclined to be judgmental of others history but when some knob tries to sing the praises of a mass murder like Jackson I get upset.
I feel my anger is justified.

Oh ok. Don't worry about me. I'm not like a lot of the Americans u deal with. I actually have some Native American blood in me too. And yes, the US Government's treatment of the Natives was downright awful and probably unforgivable too.

That depends entirely upon what America is. As I'm part Native the manner in which the USA came to be does not appeal to me. I don't have British bragging about Manifest destiny all the time so when Yanks are acting all nationalistic which is in effect pissing upon the graves of Native Nations, yeah I have a problem with that crap going down.
Having said that I enjoy American TV, Movies, Video games, food & really can't be bothered getting in American's faces about crap that happened over a 100 years ago.
The one exception is when Americans start getting in my face about what happened a 100 plus years ago.
Then I get cranky.
