This video is showing the recirculating tank pumping to a planted recirculating sandfilter. Effluent passes through the filter and the plants evapo-transpire (ET) it during the day. Any effluent not taken up by ET is draned back to the recirc tank or sent to a disinfection tank for non-potable use. A septic tank is connected to the recirc tank to remove solids.
