Website:
Earthship Sweden is a non-profit-organization, part of the EECO (European Earthship Circle of Organizations).
We help people that want to build themselves sustainable homes (Earthships/Earthship inspired homes/cob houses or other concepts involving alternative building techniques) to get in contact with volonteers that want to learn how to build one of these for themselves one day.
THE VOLONTEERS AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING:
1) To travel to and from the buid-site by their own expenses.
2) To work on the Project for at least 6 hours per day. The duration of the whole volonteer-period is agreed upon by the volonteer and the Project Manager before hand.
THE PROJECT MANAGER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING:
1) To supply his/her volonteers with a place to sleep (as much of the work on a Earthship is done during the summer, this may mean a tent if the weather allows).
2) To provide at least two meals and a breakfast per day.
Our goal is to have everyone across the borders help develop the concept further and experiment with the design to maximize its performance. Right now we are present and represented in three countries - Sweden, Belgium and Denmark but we are awaiting one in Norway and perhaps one in the UK soon, so we are growing steadily.
I hope you want to join our search for the home of the future.
Sincerely,
Marcus lewitzki

But hopefully we will have the project up and running by spring which means that it will be opened for volunteers as well.
Very exciting times!
Be sure to comment and let me know if you want the information in english. I'll then send you our newsletter translated from swedish.
If you're interested in being a volunteer on this project you can go to www.earthshipsweden.org and sign up as a volunteer there. I strongly recommend that you also sign up for our newsletter as well, and you will then be updated continuously as the project develops.
