Tacloban City, Philippines was one of the first cities in 2008 to join the earth hour observance. We organized an EARTH WALK AND BIKE RIDE THROUGH the city. We had 300 individuals joining us.
This year we are taking it further by organizing an EARTH WALK and BIKE RIDE through the streets of the city during the lights out on saturday. This is in solidarity with the rest of humanity to vote for earth. So far we have gathered 1,500 individuals who will join us in our walk/bike ride. Lead Organization is the JCI- Candahug Liberation, Inc. an affiliate of the Junior Chamber International Go EARTH!!!! |
