Cosmic Fireflies

Floating in a spaceship,
Falling through my heaven,
Through epic altitudes,
And higher latitudes

Falling into sleep,
Drifting into dreams,
Cosmic crashes in my eye,
Cosmic flashes in my brain

Cosmic rays and Wilson clouds,
Clear my consciousness.
Memories of infinity,
Particles of eternity

Starlettes pierce my eyes,
In my brain fire flies.
Periods of light,
Punctuate my night

Good evening! You know the kid who, when you ask, what do you want to do when you grow up- answers: I want to be a doctor-- a surgeon and see the brain.. and I want to be a pilot and test planes that go really fast.. oh and I want to be a computer scientist and work on artificial intelligence...AND I want to be an astronaut and go to space as much as I want and look at stars from a telescope in space... and I want to write poetry and literature and get a lot of degrees in everything..not only an MD and science stuff...
You say, that's nice dear, hoping that the day he realizes that it's impossible to do that in one life is still far away.
One man has done all those things and more: He is a teacher a father a husband and a lovely, kind and generous person.
