The name of this channel, "ETHANGELIST" is a combination of my first name, "Ethan" and "evangelist" because I preach the gospel of Christ. I'm a young apologist, college student and the son of a missionary. I became Reformed about a year ago after testing Calvinism with Scripture and praying about it.
My videos focus on defending and proving the Trinity, which is the most important doctrine. Without the Trinity, there is no gospel.
The Protestant Reformers were Trinitarians, the early church fathers were Trinitarians who learned the Trinity from the the apostles who were Trinitarians who learned it from Jesus who was of course a Trinitarian.
" There is one Physician who is possessed both of flesh and spirit; both made and not made; God existing in flesh; true life in death; both of Mary and of God; first passible and then impassible, even Jesus Christ our Lord. " -Ignatius of Antioch (died before 110 AD, the disciple of John, and ordained by Simon Peter)
The following verses, in comparison to one another prove Jesus is YHWH:
Php 2:9-11, Isaiah 45:23 & Rom 14:11; Rom 10:13, Joel 2:32; Col 1:15-17, Isaiah 44:24; Titus 2:13-14, Deu 14:2; 1Cor 10:9, Num 21:6; Eph 4:7-9, Psalm 68:18-19, 1Th 3:13, Zec 14:5; Heb 1:10-12, Psalm 102:25-27; Heb 13:8, Mal 3:6; John 12:36-41, Isaiah 6:1-10; Rev 22:13, Rev 1:8, Isaiah 44:6; John 1:1-3, Isaiah 44:24; John 8:58, Ex 3:14, John 8:24, Isaiah 43:13; John 10:28, Deu 32:39; John 13:19, Isaiah 43:10; Rev 5:12-14, Lk 4:8; Rev 2:23, Jer 17:10; Rev 3:19, Pro 3:12

When we compare John 12:37-41 with Isaiah 6:1-10, we find an exegetical certainty that the apostle John believed, taught and identified Jesus being Jehovah. In John 12:41, John confirms that Isaiah saw the glory of Jesus in Isaiah 6. But who's glory did Isaiah see in Isaiah 6? He saw YHWH's glory. Therefore Jesus is YHWH according to John. There is no escape from this conclusion. All the excuses are inadequate. There are no other places in all of the Old Testament where Isaiah "saw" the "glory" of anyone, except Isaiah 6, which John quoted from immediately before John 12:41 (in John 12:40).
Here is John 12:41 compared with Isaiah 6:1 in the LXX:
† These things Isaiah said because he SAW [εἴδω/eidō] His GLORY [δόξα/doxa], and he spoke of Him. † (John 12:41, NASB)
† And it came to pass in the year in which king Ozias died, that I SAW [εἶδον/eidon] the Lord [Yahweh] sitting on a high and exalted throne, and the house was full of his GLORY [δόξης/doxan]. † (Isaiah 6:1, LXX)
John uses the exact same Greek words for "saw" and "glory" from Isaiah 6:1 in the LXX. This makes the parallel undeniable and the argument rock solid. John knew fully well of Isaiah 6:1 and made this parallel between YHWH and Jesus deliberately. There is no denying this. If John was not identifying Jesus as YHWH, then we'd have to conclude that he was ignorant of Isaiah 6:1 and accidentally made this strong parallel and accidentally used the same Greek words. But that's not the case at all. There are no escape hatches from this exegetical conclusion. Out of all the possible parallels, Isaiah 6:1 is the only valid one.

THE MARKS / NUMBERS FORMING UPON MY FACE WILL SOON BE TOTALLY UNDENIABLE
MAY GOD BLESS YOUR SOUL ETHAN AS THE KINGDOM OF LOVE APPROACHES...
I think the best way to explain how something can be one but three different forms and purposes is with water. H2O can be water, ice and steam. Three different forms and purposes yet they are still all the one and the same H2O :)
God bless you for standing up for truth and I'm sure you would enjoy the 'Discover Prophecy' seminar on my channel. Please watch it in order to follow it properly. Awesome teaching. Enjoy :)
But anyway...have a great day! :)
I see "TheBoopski" has found his way to your channel. This man is relentless in trying to destroy the faith of just about any Christian he can contact through youtube. It's sad, but true...he is completely blinded by and doing the will of the father of all lies (John 8:43-45). Debating with him really goes nowhere, but prayer is powerful!
May God bless you.
But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:9
