Welcome to the YouTube channel
of the European Space Agency (ESA).

ESA is Europe's gateway to space.
Its mission is to shape the development of Europe's space capability and ensure that investment in space continues to deliver benefits to the citizens of Europe and the world.

SPACE exploration is a collective journey.
This is why 18 European countries have been pooling resources for over 40 years, putting Europe at the forefront of space science, technology and applications.

SPACE also means fun.
Our team produces clips with the best images of Earth and of the Universe, with astronauts and other space events for you to watch and share.

Hello Frank & co, in 6 months time many things happen, and like you said you keep yourself a bit 'up to date' with the news. In one of your videos you also told us there was no internet on the ISS. So that made me think... First of all, is there actually a normal radio/cd/mp3 player aboard the ISS?I don't know if you are a big music fan but if any of the crew members requested a song to be send to the ISS, would it be allowed or would it cost too much to send a song to the ISS? And by which means would they send this "information"?

Great channel! Very inspiring!
I also have a question: I noticed a lot of cables, equipment and stuff hanging and sticking out of the walls, floor and ceiling. Why is that like this and isn't it bothering you, dont you get strangled in it?
Can you tell is it going to be ever possible to have space stations/ships with clean interior sci-fi stile? :)
