I I am the Chapter Master of the Blood Angels. Ours is a Chapter of Elite Space Marines, our founder being a son of the Emperor himself.

Our HISTORY-
The Blood Angels were created from the gentic material of our Primarch: Sanguinius, As with all Primarch's, he was genetically engineered to be a supreme super-soilder but was case into the warp dureing his infancy along with his brothers, and found on the nuclear-blasted moon of Baal Secundus, Sanguinius was affected by the warp, and when he was found by one of the few unmutated human tribes on Baal, he had a pair of angelic wings growing from his back, As he matured quickly, he was able to use his superhuman powers and abilites to unite the humans of Baal against the mutants and become their leader.

When the Emperor found Baal in his search for the twenty Primachs, Sanguinius immediately reconized him for who he was and bent down to his knee, pledging his service, in this, Sanguinius was one of the few Primarchs who did not challage the Emperor upon their reunion, The Emperor than took Sangunius and a number of his best warriors and placed him in command on the Blood Angels Space Marine Legion

The wings repersent the Wings which were on Sanginuis's back when he was found, and the drop of blood repersents the single drop of blood Sanginius lew flow when he pledged his alligance to his father, the Emperor of Humanity.
