@AKBeazBoi depends on where ure working'; hwere I do I see more elderly patients than anything it all depends...at first I thought I wasnt gonna handle blood well but u get used to it...so if u wanan be a paramedic try going to the smaller towns with elders; trauma calls are very rare around here...

@Projectdie yea EMT-Basic's(the lowest level on an ambulance) doesnt even do too much...IL all together is a pretty crappy state...not to mention we only get 20k from the state..nothing from federal....but I got into the job to save lifes and its been awesome so far...
