Graham Harvey Interview
Voices of the Earth, a project of the Earth Medicine Alliance (http://www.earthmedicine.org) speaks with Graham Harvey, Ph.D. Harveyis a professor of Religious Studies who has taught at the University of Winchester, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and Open University. He is the author of numerous books and journal articles and one area of specialization includes animism, shamanism, and indigenous religions. His 2006 book Animism: Respecting the Living World has been an inspiration in the founding of the Earth Medicine Alliance. Lorin Smith Interview
Voices of the Earth, a project of the Earth Medicine Alliance (www.earthmedicine.org), speaks with Kashaya Pomo Elder Lorin Smith. Lorin is a traditional Kashaya Pomo elder, medicine man, dreamer and storyteller who has traveled around the U.S. and abroad doing healing work. He lives on the Pomo reservation in Gualala, California since the 1970's, and based on a vision he had back then, built a ceremonial roundhouse that remains a hub for his community and his healing work.
Daniel Foor Interview
Voices of the Earth, a project of the Earth Medicine Alliance (http://www.earthmedicine.org)<wbr>, speaks with Daniel Foor, Ph.D. Daniel has studied world religion for 15 years with an emphasis on shamanism and indigenous wisdom including the traditions of his Northern European ancestors. Daniel is an initiate in Ifa/Orisha tradition and leads trainings and individual sessions focused on ancestral healing, ritual work in nature, and clarifying personal destiny (http://www.ancestralmedicine.<wbr>org). Daniel is passionate about embodying earth-honoring wisdom in non-dogmatic ways that emphasize our capacity for service and innate joy. He is also the founder and executive director of the Earth Medicine Alliance, an interfaith, earth-honoring non-profit based out of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Charlene Sul Interview
Voices of the Earth, a project of the Earth Medicine Alliance (www.earthmedicine.org), speaks with Charlene Sul (www.sulandassociates.com). Charlene was born and raised in San Jose, California and her members of her family have lived in this 50-mile radius for hundreds of years. She founded the Confederation of Ohlone People, with a mission to organize Ohlone people and their supporters, and she co-leads the 1000 Hummingbirds Gatherings, now in their 4th year. Here, she speaks on the recent history of the Ohlone people in the Bay Area, as well as ritual and ceremonies practiced by the Ohlone to honor the earth and the ancestors.
Alex Stark Interview
Voices of the Earth, a project of the Earth Medicine Alliance (www.earthmedicine.org), speaks with Alex Stark (www.alexstark.com), an internationally recognized expert and teacher in Feng Shui and European Geomancy. Alex is from the Central Highlands of Peru, where he studied shamanism, and a graduate of the Yale University School of Architecture, where he mastered his crafts of creativity, efficiency and design. Here, he speaks of ritual and ceremony as a way of connecting with the earth, and calls for an urgent re-balancing of male and female energies to help our species survive.
Hua Anwa Interview
Voices of the Earth, a Project of the Earth Medicine Alliance (http://www.earthmedicine.org)<wbr>, speaks with Clan Mother Hua Anwa, a Metis Elder (teacher of mixed Mayan and Cherokee descent) and adopted Chumash who has been leading ceremony on the Central Coast of California for 30 years. She is the spiritual leader of the Church of Empowerment, a Native American based non-profit that offers ceremonies, teachings and community building. Each year, Hua leads a ceremony for women called the Long Dance, as well as Full Moon circles and other ceremonies in the Arroyo Grande area. In addition, Hua also offers classes, teachings, healings and counseling to a wide variety of audiences, individuals and her extended community. Chandra Alexandre Interview
Chandra Alexandre is a householder and clergy, initiated in 1998 into
the mysteries of the dark goddess in India—first on the dakshinacara
path and then, five years later, on the non-dualistic path of vamacara
tantra. She is founder and a spiritual leader of the SHARANYA
community (www.sharanya.org) and Daughters of Kali dedicated to
engaged spirituality for social justice and transformation through
(r)evolutionary shakta tantra. Chandra and community also run an
online mystery school, Kali Vidya (www.KaliVidya.org). Chandra is
conjurer of the Aghori Bakery and holds a PhD in Asian & Comparative
Studies from CIIS, a Doctor of Ministry degree, and an MBA in
sustainable management. She is a fund development officer during
business hours for a public policy advocacy organization and at all
hours, mother to Eve, born at home on December 12, 2009. Chandra can

Dr. Darryl Babe Wilson Interview
Dr. Darryl Babe Wilson is a widely published author, poet, educator and storyteller. He is part of the California Pit River Nation, and his native name is Sul'ma'ejote, which speaks to the place he was born. Dr. Wilson has worked to preserve the oral traditions of Native people, and is the author of essays, short stories and poetry, and his autobiography - The Morning the Sun Went Down.
