About Me:

Who am I? Im Andrew Bortz born in Haverfordwest, Wales. Ive lived in many a place. Ive spent the best part of 20 years behind a computer screen wether it be driving, beating the crap outta monsters in the likes of DDO or out there in the numerous Star Trek games that have come to pass. So its no suprise really that ive a knack for picking up most titles and getting to the sharp end of the pack.

Played my first online game Starfleet Command 3 in 2001 and joined my first clan the same day called PHNX Phoenix Battle group, left within 6 months when it became to big and collapsed. Since then ive been apart of ELITE www.elite-gaming.org been there ever since as members were handpicked best of the best and pretty much respected everywhere.

A brief guide to improving your driving

I was always taught from an early age to do everything on the setting it is hardest to do, (Thank you Grandma for that one) whether it be playing chess, driving in a race game or anything else that comes to mind. Only a few things come to mind, alot of it is down to consistancy.

1. Your seating is key you need to have a seat that doesnt move (although mine does)
2. Wheel settings if you already drive and your car is rear wheel drive then try to get it feeling like your own car in relation to how much power and turning you can do before the rear end starts stepping out.
3. Practice 5-10 laps on a track just isnt enough when your aiming high repetition is the key once you have a baseline setup that is stable not alot of settings will change from track to track to start off with, the most important thing is that you are comfortable with the balance.

My advise would be this start using expert mode do the long weekend, preferably 100% races but some ppl have more time than others, use the practice sessions I complete on average between 15-25 laps every session unless im really comfortable already check that timing screen in the pits to see where your dropping the time and adjust accordingly.

If anyone wants more help well im avaliable most of the time on our teamspeak 3 server just pm me for details.

Yes I will be doing a montage, unfortunately soundtracks I may not be able to do with copyright stuff, dont want any video's flagging up and limiting my account.

If anyone has any favourite bits they specifically want to see in it then send me a private message here and ill see about possibly putting it in.

Will obviously take a while to put together with the amount of footage I have over the season so any help in finding good bits are welcome.

ELITERazarar (1 week ago)
Yes setups make all the difference, you look at real F1 its all about car setup getting those couple of 1/10ths advantage can make all the difference.

do setups make that much of a difference? how much time do they take of your laps?
