╟►SPLIT-SCREEN COVERS

The ideia behind the project is to collaborate online to record these covers.
Although some good friends of mine form the core of the project, the band won't necessarily be the same for every song. We will have guests from around the world participating, mostly (if nor all) on vocals though, at our discretion.
How those it work?
Each guy in the band records their parts (audio tracks and video) at home or at a local studio and sends them to me.
I then put the audio together and mix it.
Since I'm fairly new to mixing, this has been a great exercise for me. I learn the concept behind the sound of my favorite albums and try a whole bunch of cool techniques trying to replicate it closely.
I AB my mix with the original song but I don't get too crazy about it. It's difficult to get the sound exactly right due to a number of variables. When I get it close enough I stop comparing the two and just get it to sound good (hopefully) from there.
When the final stereo audio track is done I take it to a video editing software and sync everyones videos to it. After a bit of editing and level/color correction it's ready for YouTube. :)

We're lucky enough to say we've been getting many requests from great singers from around the world interested in participating on this project.
Unfortunately we can't keep up with recording at the same rate people are showing up. A few singers are already chosen for specific songs and are just patiently waiting until we manage to get to them. Slowly but surely, we will do each one.
This unsynced relation of available singers to songs being put out has however put us in a difficult position of having to be more selective of our guests. We haven't written out an official criteria list to follow while evaluating candidates, as we thought it wouldn't come to this.
We'll listen to the supplied material (video on youtube, myspace, or whatever) and either feel it fits our project or not. That simple! We'll mostly be paying attention to intonation, performance, ability to deliver lyrics in English convincinly, tone, the usual (including our personal preferences). :)
We'll check our list of available next few songs and suggest one or two we feel might fit nicely for the specific voice, and then talk it out from there.
I'd like to concentrate contact through email if at all possible. It makes keeping track of everyone much easier. If you prefer, contact through PM is fine also.

For anyone interested, please send us an email with your info. Tell us a bit about yourself. A good starting point would be your name, city/country, bands/projects, forum alias, youtube channel, myspace, recording setup. Please also include a list of your favourite DT albums and songs you'd wish to cover and any other info you feel we should know.
We won't be accepting guests with no recorded audio for us to listen to. This is the least we could ask. So don't send us emails with "DT rulz, i sing nicely, I swear!!!!1" (we do get this)... I'm sure you do, but please show us. :)

I'll gladly accept video replies as long as it relates to this one in one of two ways:
1) [Format] It is a Split-Screen, full band type cover of any DT/LTE song.
2) [Song] It is related to "Metropolis Part 1" in any type format (split-screen, single person, or whatever).
